Dust off your golf clubs, put on your best golf attire and come out to the 3rd Annual Abbey's Hope Golf Tournament and Party on Monday, September 13, 2010 at the Braemar Golf Course in Edina.

This year, the event kicks off at 11:00 am with lunch, followed by a noon shotgun start and an opportunity to win great prizes, including a chance for a million dollar hole-in-one shot. But the fun won’t stop there; this year we’re taking the party outside under the big top tent! Starting at 5:00 pm, golfers and non golfers alike can fill up on delicious food from local restaurants, including; Stella's, Majors, Ciento, Tuttle's Bowling Bar & Grill, Tiger Sushi and The Melting Pot, then grab a front row seat (or get your dancing shoes ready) as the Rocket Club presented by the Walser Foundation (http://www.rocketclub.info/) takes the stage. The night also holds a bevy of summer beverages along with great silent and live auction items. No wonder they call it the great outdoors.

This year’s event also has some incredible silent and live auction items up for grabs and the bidding will be fast and furious. Here are just some of the items available.

The Ultimate Entertainment Package - for 2 rooms in your home and just in time for football season. This package includes a 55” 1080P/120Hz LED TV featuring NET TV, a 40” 1080P/120Hz LCD TV, Blue ray disc player with Wifi and Netflix, Pandora, etc., Pioneer Receiver, speakers and up to 6 hours of basic installation services.

Sutton Bay Sportsman Experience - This is THE hunting/fishing/golfing trip of a lifetime! Board a private plane to one of the most unique private clubs in the world, Sutton Bay in South Dakota, where you can hunt, fish and golf. This package is for 6 people and includes a private plane, transportation to and from the airport, golfing, caddy fees, hunting, fishing, and 2 days/1 night lodging.

Private Dinner for Ten - Enjoy an evening of being wined and dined with a private dinner for ten in your home. Executive Chef Bob LaPoint will create a five course dinner for you and nine guests in the luxury of your our home. Chef Bob will arrange a time to work with you to create a menu of your favorites and pair courses with wine. Wine, food and server included.

Through this event we have raised over $300,000 over the past two years to support our mission to educate parents and families in Minnesota and throughout the U.S. about pool and spa safety and to ensure that ALL pool drains are installed and managed correctly and safely. The Foundation and its committed volunteers work tirelessly to fulfill Abbey’s Hope that what happened to her would never happen to another child.
